"This is a must read for sports fans and for anyone who loves a good story. Sharkey's life story was so incredible that you wish you had been there to experience just some of this boxing history in the making. My choice would be to witness the twenty-five round fight between Sailor Tom Sharkey and Jim Jeffries for the heavyweight championship--the fictional championship fight from the first "Rocky" movie pales in comparison. Or maybe I would want to see the contested fight where lawman Wyatt Earp refereed."
